Ex-Football Association (FA) chairman Greg Clarke (63) has resigned his role as FIFA Vice-President. His resignation comes two days after he left the FA over a series of offensive remarks.
Mr.The Clerke also stepped down from his role with FIFA after a telephone call with UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin on Thursday morning.
Mr. Clarke has also encountered so much criticism after his comments.
In a statement on Thursday by UEFA, declared openly that president Aleksander Ceferin and Greg Clarke approved his plan to step down with immediate effect from his position as a UEFA representative on the FIFA Council.
Following Clarke’s departure, Peter McCormick was appointed by the FA as interim chairman as they set to select a new chairman by the end of March next year.
