Nigerian president, President Muhammadu Buhari has humbly asked Nigerians to criticize his government fairly.
He made this known in a recent submission he made in Abuja on January 14 and his comments come after being under criticisms from Nigerians.
Since he became Nigeria’s president in 2015, he has received some harsh words from Nigerians concerning his administration.
It even got to a point where some Nigerians held the view that he must resign, especially in the wake of the brouhaha involving SARS.
In his recent submission, the president addressed all these criticism saying;
“Those criticizing the administration should be fair in terms of reflecting on where we were before we came, where we are now and what resources are available to us, and what we have done with the limited resources.
We had to struggle paying debts, investing in road repairs and rebuilding, to revamp the rail, and try to get power. This is what I hope the elite when they want to criticize will use to compare notes.”
