The wife of MD of the First City Monument Bank, Mrs. Hauwa Adam Nuru, has disputed statements of filing a divorce after her husband found himself in a scandal.
Think back to the time that the MD of FCMB, Adams Nuru was the main topic after he reportedly had a romantic affair with his former staff, Moyo Thomas.
News gathered indicated that the two children in Mr. Tunde’s marriage weren’t his. Just a month ago, Mr. Thomas died after obtaining a DNA test that the children were not his.
Following this, Mr. Nuru is currently on leave as the FCMB management investigates his case. Meanwhile, Sahara Reporters reported that Mr. Nuru’s wife was set to seek divorce.
A statement released on January 16, Mrs. Nuru denied the reports circulating.
Her statement in part reads
“I want to clarify for the avoidance of doubt that I am still very much with my husband. This fake news was published by an online newspaper in a calculated attempt to further demonize my beloved husband and a loving father.
“Let me reiterate that at no time did I contemplate leaving my matrimonial home or filing for divorce as no grounds exist for such”
