According to family reports, the school teacher who kidnapped and killed Hanifa Abubakar, a 5-year-old girl in Kano, was one of the first individuals to sympathize with her parents following the kidnapping.
According to LIB, the suspect, Abdulmalik Mohammed Tanko, the owner of Noble Kids Nursery and Primary School in Kano, was detained along with an accomplice for the heinous crime.
Suraj Sulaiman, the girl’s uncle, told the Daily Nigerian that Tanko cried when he visited Hanifa’s parents to soothe them about the kidnapping.
“He was full of tears when he visited the family to console them over the abduction,” said Sulaiman.
