Two children have been pronounced dead after a toilet at UK Bello Memorial Primary School, Paiko, in Niger State’s Paikoro Local Government Area collapsed on them.
According to reports, the children were doing something near the building that was supposed to be weak, although it is unclear what they were doing.
Although eyewitness accounts differ, eyewitness accounts claim that the deceased, a boy and a girl, were peddling sachet water with their classmates when the awful occurrence occurred.
The toddlers were reportedly foraging for scraps when the toilet collapsed, according to another report.
Meanwhile, the parents of the victims expressed their grief over their children’s deaths while also pleading with the government to assist them in further investigations.
