Former manager Shadrach Agyei Owusu, popularly known as Snap Chavis Wayne, has sued Ghanaian rapper Mohammed Ismail, better known as Black Sherif, for alleged breach of contract.
Snap filed a complaint in the Accra High Court, accusing Sherif of ditching his record label to strike a deal with Empire Entertainment, an international organization, without proper warning or procedure.
On Monday, April 11, 2022, a writ of summons was served on Black Sherif, stating that he had eight days to respond.
In addition, the former manager is seeking an injunction against the Second Sermon singer, preventing him from performing at any event until the issue is concluded.
