According to seven-time winner Lionel Messi, Real Madrid’s France star Karim Benezema deserves to win the Ballon d’Or.
Benzema played a key role in Real Madrid’s Champions League triumph this season, which included a 1-0 victory over Liverpool in Paris on Saturday.

“He was crucial from the last-16 onwards in every match and I think there’s no doubt” that Benzema deserves to win the Ballon d’Or.
Messi was speaking just days before a friendly match between the two continental champions at Wembley Stadium.
