Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got tied, and wouldn’t you know it, they did it by saying “I do” in the middle of the desert like a pair of young people trying to elope.
The couple sought a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, which was taken out and processed on Saturday, July 16, according to court records obtained by TMZ. It’s in both of their names, and more specifically, in their legal names. Jennifer Lynn Lopez and Benjamin Geza Affleck.
According to a source close to Bennifer, they did indeed get married and the license serves as proof that they are now man and wife.
According to TMZ, J. Lo was photographed wearing an engagement ring earlier this year while shopping for furniture with her 14-year-old daughter, Emme.
Soon after, Jennifer informed her subscribers of the news via a video message. She is teary-eyed and says, “You’re perfect,” before revealing her stunning green diamond ring.
Ben and Jen first became engaged in the latter part of 2002, but they broke it off in 2004 before being hitched. They each had subsequent relationships apart, including marriages and children, but they got back together about a year ago and have appeared to be inseparable ever since.
