The newspaper Forbes just revealed their 2022 list of “America’s Richest Self-Made Women,” which is a rating of the country’s most wealthy female business owners, CEOs, performers, and others.
Rihanna, 34, who is ranked No. 21 on the list, is the youngest person overall with a net worth of more than $1 billion. According to Forbes, the success of her cosmetics line, Fenty Beauty, is the main source of her $1.4 billion. The website also states that “she also owns a 30% share in the Savage x Fenty lingerie line, which received money at a $1 billion valuation in February 2021.” RiRi, who was named the richest female musician in the world in April, is reputed to be Barbados’ first billionaire.
Other well-known women who have made it on their own include Reese Witherspoon ($430 million), Serena Williams ($260 million), Sandra Bullock ($225 million), Madonna ($575 million), Kris Jenner ($230 million), Taylor Swift ($570 million), Beyoncé ($450 million), Kim Kardashian ($1.8 billion), and Kylie Jenner ($600 million).
